Douglas Chang is a producer and founder of PassionPlay Projections. From 2001 to 2003, he served as director of programming for KCET, PBS member station in Los Angeles, reaching the second largest public television market in the United States. Prior to this he was supervising producer of "P.O.V.", public television’s acclaimed independent documentary series. He was also a segment and associate producer on the first two seasons of “City Arts,” the art and culture series produced by WNET New York, honored with more local Emmys than any show in history.

He has worked or consulted on numerous film and television projects, and has served on advisory panels for several public television series, including "P.O.V.," "Sesame Street," "The Fred Friendly Seminars,” and “Colorvision." He is currently on the board of directors of the International Documentary Association.
