Skuldt's recent work involves the reverse-engineering of standard aesthetics to cook up realities set askew. These reconstructions propose an inquiry of the societal construction of norms and deviants.
Jim Skuldt is currently completing his graduate studies at California Institute of the Arts. His work has been exhibited in Los Angeles and elsewhere. In addition to participating with LA Freewaves at MOCA and REDCAT, recent venues this fall include Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) and the High Desert Test Sites (HTDS4) near Joshua Tree, CA.
