Vantage is an interactive game using an aerial image of downtown Baghdad. The player chooses whether to fire upon various icons: buildings with civilians, buildings with soldiers, or mosques. Each building icon generates new images in the background, either an image of prisoner abuse or of civilian causalities. If enough of one building is destroyed, the screen diverts and a new level appears. When this level is completed, the player "wins" the game. Vantage deals with the mediation of war through gaming and the news, and recontextualizes the ramifications of aggression.
