MADE IN L.A. (A WORK IN PROGRESS)
MADE IN L.A. is documentary work-in-progress and will be screening a trailer as part of the Globalize This! program.

MADE IN L.A. intimately documents the experiences of Latina immigrants fighting for better working conditions in garment sweatshops in Los Angeles, and shows the impact of this struggle on their personal lives. The film, shot in veritè, tells the story of their three-year boycott campaign and lawsuit for unpaid wages against a fashionable women's clothing retailer.

MADE IN L.A. is a story of hope and transformation, and brings to light modern attitudes about the value of people and work,
globalization, women's rights, and recent immigrants' experiences in the United States.
