Bill Kelley Jr. is an educator, independent writer, and critic who lives in Los Angeles. As the director of the online art journal www.LatinArt.com, his work is informed by globalised and shifting
considerations in the fields of Latin American and Latino art. Given L.A.'s geographic, cultural, and economic realities, those shifts have become more frequent and their effects more visible and pronounced. He is currently organizing a lecture series locally entitled "Offline Dialogues", where
these considerations can be addressed in person. Bill holds a graduate degree from the University of New Mexico in 18th century colonial art
studies and is currently pursuing his Ph.D in contemporary art history at UC San Diego
