Juan Devis is an interdisciplinary artist, writer and director. He has worked in the commercial and the non-profit world, narrowing the gap between art and commerce, social change and entertainment. His work is often produced collaboratively, allowing for a greater exchange of ideas in the production of art. Devis is the President of the board of Freewaves, a non-profit media arts organization, and is currently developing with them a TV series on Contemporary American Art.
Laura Purdy's 16mm experimental films have been recognized with awards and screenings nationally and internationally. After working as Production Supervisor for Academy-Award winning Museum of Tolerance, she gave birth to a baby girl and formed 50/50 Productions focused on developing creative media that span film, video, and the web.
