Julie Lazar is Director of International Contemporary Arts Network based in Glendale, California, and an independent curator. She was a founding curator of The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles where she later served as Director of Experimental Programs. Among the artists with whom she has worked are: John Adams, Apsolutno, Belkas Ayón, John Cage, Remy Charlip, Ellen Sebastian Cheng, Cornerstone Theater Company, Juan Devis, Mel Chin, Guillermo Gómez-Peña, Renée Green, Weba Garretson, Karen Finley, Aimée Garcia, Janie Geiser, Frank O. Gehry, Gary Hill, Ik-Joong Kang, Hirokazu Kosaka, George Legrady, Sherrie Levine, Rick Lowe, Pat O’Neill, Martin Puryear, Tim Robbins and the Actors' Gang, Navin Rawanchaikul, Rosângela Rennó, Peter Sellers, Marie Sester, Elizabeth Streb, Doho Suh, Mierle Laderman Ukeles, Bill Viola, Grahame Weinbren and Chen Zhen. In New York, she held key administrative positions at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center; The Hudson
River Museum, Rockefeller University, The Museum of Modern Art, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
