For its grand finale, Freewaves will present interactive videos, music, games, and karaoke among gallery openings throughout Central Plaza and Chung King Road in Chinatown. ArtsCorpsLA, c-level, Chinatown Barber Shop, Grandstar Bar, Mary Goldman Gallery, Mountain Bar, Oulous Repair Shop, Telic, and Via Café and are joining us. Will you?

Expanding economies, cities and cultural exchanges plus evaporating history are all factors generating the bold, active art world of China today. Video is a major player. Its flexibility answers artists' needs for documentation, animation, appropriation, performance records, conceptual projects and manipulatable imagery, constructing while questioning the equation of art and individuality.
